About Lana Elliott

Lana Elliott

Lana Elliott is a native of Russia. Throughout her life she has recognized a personal passion for helping others. It was while working at a children’s hospital in Ukraine that Lana began to realize a strong interest in the field of Law. For her, Law would come to represent the ability to make a difference in an individuals rights and liberties and the struggle to protect them. With this, Lana pursued her career in law by being accepted and graduating from the Ukrainian National Academy of Law in Kharkov.

Having been interested in the law of other countries and especially the United States, she chose to begin a new and exciting life in America studying its legal system.  She applied for and was accepted to the University Of Idaho College Of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate degree.

Lana recognizes on a very personal level the steps, challenges, rewards and frequent obstacles found in the post-9/11 immigration process. With her foreign and U.S. law degrees, and being an immigrant herself, Lana became well educated in U.S. immigration law. Recognizing her unique insight of an often complex legal process, Lana decided to devote her law career specifically to immigration law.

Lana practices family, business, asylum, removal, criminal and all other areas of immigration law. She works with clients in all fifty states and world-wide.  She speaks fluent English, Ukrainian and Russian and has in-house Spanish-speaking translators. Lana can arrange for interpreters of all foreign languages as needed. She is a member of the ABA (American Bar Association) and AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association).
